Shiloh my first love has come so far since I first had her join our family.  We don’t know how old she is but we estimate her age to be about 16 or 17 and when we first got her we knew she had about 8 owners before me.  This isn’t a good thing. 

We knew she had issues but when you looked into her eyes she spoke volumes.  She just wanted to be loved and she wanted to trust again…  she just had hurdles to get over and we needed to help her. 

I have been riding her again and trying to make it a point to do so at least two if not three times a week.  This last ride was amazing…  I was able to get her to walk, trot, and cantor nicely around the arena.  No hibbie jibbies.

I really wanted to ride more but because she is so out of shape I had to quit her and walk to cool her down.  Unfortunately, I’ve been sick since that ride and haven’t been able to get out to ride her again.  My goal today, is to ride and I’m crossing my fingers we might of crossed a threshold and we are on the right track again.
